What is the net worth of Davido?

Davido is a $100 million-rich Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer. In November 1992, Davido was born in Atlanta, Georgia. At an early age, he relocated to Lagos, where he eventually made his studio debut with Omo Bab Olowo in 2012. In 2016, Davido released the Son of Mercy EP. In Nigeria, his track “Dami Duro” became popular. HKN Music is a record label owned by Davido and his elder brother, Adewale Adeleke. Skales, Naeto C, and Tiwa Savage are just a few of the musicians for whom Davido has produced songs. In 2013, he partnered with Guinness Nigeria for the Guinness World of More concert, and he inked an endorsement agreement with MTN Nigeria.

David Adedeji Adeleke was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to a Nigerian family, better known by his stage name Davido, relocated to Lagos at an early age. While he was a student at the British International School in Lagos, he became interested in music. Davido’s love of music overcame his family’s initial opposition, and he eventually enrolled in Oakwood University’s music department in Alabama, United States. Nevertheless, he stopped going to school and began recording vocals and rhythms at home.

 

Rise: “Omo Baba Olowo” and “Dami Duro”

In 2011 Davido made his musical debut in Nigeria with his popular song “Dami Duro.” A wider audience heard Davido’s trademark mix of pop and Afrobeats thanks to this song, which shot to fame in Nigeria. “Omo Baba Olowo,” his debut studio album, was released in 2012, solidifying his status as one of Nigeria’s most gifted musicians.

Global Achievement and HKN Music

Davido and his brother Adewale Adeleke co-founded HKN Music in order to capitalize on their early success. He put out numerous hit singles under this label, including as “Gobe,” “One of a Kind,” and “Skelewu,” which helped him get even more recognition.

 

“A Good Time” and International Acclaim

In 2019, Davido made his breakthrough internationally with his album “A Good Time.” Hit songs like “Fall” and “If,” which topped charts worldwide and made Davido a household name in the Afrobeats industry, were included on the album. His global profile was further cemented in 2020 when he was invited to perform at NPR’s Tiny Desk event, thanks to the success of “A Good Time”.
